Why does the PhoxyCube Reader Software show values 'high' or 'low'?

The main working range of the used pH sensor is 5.5 to 8.0. The pH values are calculated using a sigmoidal calibration curve. If the measured raw values approach the asymptote of the sigmoid calibration curve, the calculated pH values are highly noisy. For this reason, 'High' or 'Low' is displayed in this case.

The main response range of the O2 sensor in the PhoxyPlates is 0 - 100% a.s with a non-linear curve. O2 levels outside the main range can show significantly higher noise levels. For preventing misleading interpretation of calculated O2 values, values above 150 % a.s. are shown as 'High'.
